Winter Beaver Creek wedding at Saddleridge

Megan and Ryan have been through a lot together and it is so clear that they always have and always will be there for one another. One of the best parts of my job is filming couples who are so obviously meant for each other. Megan and Ryan are one of those couples. They were married on February 25 at Saddleridge in Beaver Creek. Saddleridge is an all around great wedding venue but I think even better for winter weddings. You can have a fun Colorado-style ceremony, indoors, while capturing the surrounding beauty of Beaver Creek. This was my first wedding of 2018 and I feel very fortunate to kick this year off with such an amazing couple. Congrats to Megan and Ryan and all the adventures you'll share together.

Scenic Winter Wedding in Breckenridge

I love a good winter wedding. Especially when it includes an outdoor ceremony with 360 degree mountain views. Yes, everyone was freezing cold but it was 100% worth it. Kayla & Trey married on Dec. 27 with close friends and family at The Lodge at Breckenridge. They were determined to have an outdoor ceremony rain (snow) or shine and I'm so happy they stuck with it. The views from The Lodge could not be more stunning. It's the perfect venue to begin a beautiful marriage.

Emotional Beaver Creek Wedding

Sometimes there are weddings that not only make me laugh and cry while shooting but get me all teared up editing as well. Kiera, Gunnar and their families are hands down some of the most wonderful people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. All the toasts were so touching and meaningful Take a look at this fun, emotional Beano's Cabin wedding.

Mountain Wedding with Mexican Flare

When your wedding involves a piñata during cocktail hour it's pretty much a given that it's going to be one heck of a day. Kaitlin & Arturo met during a family Christmas trip to Puerto Vallarta. Kaitlin thought Arturo was a cutie so she slipped the bellman a note to give him when she left the hotel. Arturo eventually connected with her and the rest is history! Isn't that the best meeting story ever!?

Rebecca & Brandon | Timber Ridge Keystone, CO

I really hit the client jackpot with these two. Not only was their wedding day perfect and stunning and #allthethings but they may be two of the nicest people I've ever met. Timber Ridge on Keystone Resort is quickly becoming one of my favorite venues in Colorado. The endless mountain views, TWO gondola rides and rustic lodges make for the perfect guest experience. Thank you to Rebecca & Brandon for allowing me to be a part of your amazing wedding day. Oh! And of course working with the vendor dream team of Love This Day Events and rock star photographer Laura Murray

Michelle & Erik | Spruce Mountain Ranch - Larkspur, CO

Though it's not very close to us here in the mountains Spruce Mountain Ranch is one of my favorite venues in Colorado. The ceremony spot has beautiful views and the reception venue is not only huge but has an elegant western feel. Michelle & Erik are such a sweet couple and their vows almost brought me to tears during the ceremony. The first thing I noticed about Michelle was he amazing laugh which I tried to incorporate into their film as much as possible. It wasn't hard because her groom made her laugh a lot.

Maxine & Nir | Gorrono Ranch Telluride, CO

Maxine & Nir are one of those couples who you meet and immediately think - those two just belong together. Their wedding was filled with love from family and friends who traveled across the country and the world. Though the original plan of an outdoor ceremony was changed due to Telluride's looming storms, their marriage vows were shared at the gorgeous Gorrono Ranch on Telluride Mountain. I wish them nothing but health and happiness in their marriage.

Rachael + Keegan | Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch

The skier bridge at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch is one of my favorite ceremony spots in the Vail Valley. Rachael & Keegan's wedding could not have been more beautiful. The weather for their June 24 wedding was perfect - not a cloud in the sky. This couple is so fun and they laughed all day long. What a great start to a lovely marriage.

Tara + Bruce | Allie's Cabin Beaver Creek, CO

Tara & Bruce's St. Patrick's Day wedding was super fun. I had a blast working along side my favorite photography duo, Nate & Jenny Weddings and wedding planner extraordinaire Jill Chalfant of Snapdragon Celebrations. Their day could not have been more perfect. Not many couples can say they were lucky enough to ride a snowcat to their wedding ceremony. Tara and Bruce exchanged vows at the top of Beaver Creek Mountain and danced the night away with close friends and family at Allie's Cabin.

Trappers Cabin Styled Shoot | Beaver Creek, CO

Trappers Cabin on Beaver Creek Mountain is a quick chair lift or drive up from the Ritz Carlton at Bachelor Gulch. It's the perfect setting for an elopement or small wedding. In September I had the fun opportunity to film a styled shoot planned by my friends and colleagues; Jill Chalfant of Snapdragon Celebrations and Jenny Nelson from Nate and Jenny Weddings

The beautiful Autumn-inspired shoot was classic and elegant. Stunning tablescapes were designed by local Florist Rose Petals. Our two brides, Abby Perlmutter (star Denver fashion blogger of Denver Darling) and Stephanie Walker (a very recent bride who was married just the week prior) had their make-up done by the talented Michelle McKamie. Their hair was styled by the hilarious and also very talented Kacee Picot

We shot video and photo until the sun set and sipped drinks from Vail's favorite spirits company 10th Mountain Whiskey. The fun continued with Colorado Flipbooth inside the cabin. It was truly an inspiring shoot. I love seeing fellow vendors outside of weddings and having the opportunity to film them all in one setting. We have such a great wedding community here in the Colorado Rocky Mountains and I think this shoot highlights some of the best.
