There is something entirely magical about a couple deciding to strip away the noise of a traditional wedding day to focus solely on each other. Ambria and Devin’s Telluride elopement was the epitome of that effortless romance. We began the day with a casual stroll through the historic, Victorian streets of downtown Telluride before taking the gondola up to the breathtaking San Sophia Overlook. Perched high above the valley with the rugged San Juan Mountains as their witness, they exchanged deeply personal vows and celebrated with an intimate, mountaintop picnic.

As a filmmaker, my goal is always to fade into the background and capture the raw, candid energy of the day rather than staging rigid poses. Because Ambria and Devin chose a low-key, intentional celebration, every moment felt completely unscripted and authentic. Their film is less a record of events and more of a nostalgic time capsule—capturing the quiet glances, shared laughs, and true feeling of doing their wedding entirely their way.
